Welcome to
The Charity CEO Podcast
The podcast for charity leaders, by charity leaders.
This show aims to inspire, inform and deliver practical insights on the challenges facing charity leaders today. Featuring candid, meaningful conversations that really get beneath the surface of issues.
For the benefit of leaders across the sector and for those who care about the important work of charities and non-profit organisations.
Dhivya is the newly appointed Global CEO of United World Schools. Previously she served as Interim CEO of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and as CEO of the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, Children with Cancer UK. She is a Trustee and Chair of the Development Board of Book Aid International, a library development organisation operating in over 30 countries. Dhivya has deep knowledge of the non-profit sector and expertise across fundraising and philanthropy. She has volunteered with NGOs in India, South Africa and Cambodia.
Prior to joining the third sector, she held various strategy, business development and leadership roles, and helped drive transformative growth, working in organisations including Lloyds Bank, GE Capital and OctopusTravel (now part of Expedia Group).
A passionate advocate for the work of charities, she launched The Charity CEO Podcast in August 2020, whilst on Maternity break with her second child.
In each episode of The Charity CEO Podcast, Dhivya interviews a charity or non-profit leader who shares their insights, knowledge and expert opinion on a particular topic or area of expertise.
